Responding to the invitation of Christ ….
“Go out to the whole world,
proclaim the good news to
all creation.”
Mk. 16:15
We Sisters of Mary Immaculate understand that we must carry out the
mission of the Church with attentiveness to the signs of the times without
taking into account the fatigue or fear of “wilderness and great forests”. We thus We thus implant, spread and maintain faith among
the people of God. In whatever
ministries we are engaged in, we allow the Spirit to work in us so that we may
bring the light of the Gospel to our brothers and sisters who are lying in the
dark.
Our mission is carried out through education in schools - kindergarten,
primary and secondary; vocational training in colleges; health care in
hospitals, health centres and dispensaries; pastoral work in parishes as well
as in the institutions; social work among the needy in the society; hidden
ministries that include office work, farming, etc.
Currently
we are serving in Kenya in eleven dioceses, Uganda, Tanzania, Zambia, Italy and
in U.S.A.
