Sisters of Mary Immaculate of Nyeri are a religious Institute founded in Mathari (Nyeri), Kenya on 24th October, 2018 by Mother Julia Muthoni, Mother Josepha Wambui and Sister Filippina Njeri with the guidance and the approval of Bishop Filippo Perlo.  They bravely responded to a powerful voice of the Holy Spirit in their hearts to become religious sisters at a time when woman was morally and socially degraded that she appeared not only as the slave of man, but also as a beast of burden.  The Institute was given Pontifical approval on 8th December, 2019.
